Dachshunds are such playful, fun dogs!  They are low to the ground, long bodied, short legged, and well balanced dogs.  They are sometimes referred to as "wiener dogs".  Wonderfully curious dogs, they love to investigate.  They are also known for their devotion and loyalty to their owners.   

Dachshunds come in two sizes; standard and miniature.  A full grown standard averages 16-28 pounds, while the miniature variety typically weighs less than 11 pounds.  They come in three coat varieties; smooth coat, long coat, and wire-haired.

We are located in the Loess Hills of western Iowa and raise Miniature Smooth Coat Dachshunds.  All of our puppies are raised with loving care in our home, as part of the family, and are socialized from birth.  Our goal is to produce healthy, beautiful, well bred dogs.
